About us
The Subiaco Lacrosse Club was formed in 1940 by Mr J. L. Carden. Its roots trace back to the Nedlands Lacrosse Club, established in 1930, which later merged with Subiaco following World War II. At the time, Nedlands fielded only senior men’s teams, while Subiaco had a strong cohort of junior boys ready to step into senior lacrosse.
Today, Subiaco is a thriving and inclusive club offering men’s, women’s, and junior teams. We provide opportunities for everyone to simply enjoy lacrosse - whether that means getting fit, learning new skills, meeting new people, or progressing along pathways that can lead to state and Australian representation.
We are more than just a sporting club; we are a community. Subiaco is actively involved in local school and development programs and is proudly affiliated with the University of Western Australia. We are always seeking opportunities to support and grow our people, our players, our club, and the sport of lacrosse.
Nestled on the immaculately maintained grass fields of Rosalie Park on Derby Road in the City of Subiaco, our club offers not only the chance to play and learn a new sport, but also a welcoming social environment, a vibrant calendar of events, and lifelong friendships.

Subiaco Lacrosse Club acknowledges the Wadjuk people of the Nyongar land and their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to the people, the culture and the Elders past and present.
